Sankranti Rangoli Competitions and Prize Distribution Across Adopted Villages

As part of Sankranti celebrations, the EArtH Foundation organized Rangoli (Muggulu) competitions across its four adopted villages—Pallagutta, Chinnapendyala, Obulkeshwapur, and Chagal—to celebrate harvest, tradition, and cultural unity. Rangoli, a cherished traditional art form, became a joyful platform to showcase creativity, preserve heritage, and encourage active participation from rural women and youth. The competitions promoted traditional values, built confidence, recognized local talent, and strengthened community bonding during the festive season. Events were conducted village-wise with smooth coordination from the Foundation team, volunteers, and village representatives. In Pallagutta, the Village Sarpanch attended as chief guest and distributed prizes, while Chinnapendyala highlighted inclusiveness by awarding participation prizes to all. Obulkeshwapur witnessed a vibrant gathering with prizes presented by village leaders, and Chagal hosted the event in the presence of the AEO. Colorful, creative, and culturally rich designs filled the villages with festive charm—bringing communities together and celebrating tradition through joyful participation.
