The EArtH Foundation organized a cricket tournament, where the Thimmapur team emerged as the champion. The matches took place on Saturday and Sunday at the outskirts of Burugupalli. In the final, Thimmapur secured victory against the Bhoompalli team in an exciting contest. The prize distribution ceremony was held on Monday to honor the winners. Foundation founder K. Srinivas and DEO office SO Bhaskar attended the event. Their presence motivated the players and added significance to the occasion. The tournament promoted team spirit, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students.
The EArtH Foundation is offering free training for Police and Defense exams to support aspiring candidates in Jagitial district. The training includes structured physical sessions to enhance strength, endurance, and flexibility. Over the past week, students showed remarkable improvement in running distances, stamina, and core workouts. Girls progressed to a 2 km run, while boys completed 3.5 km, followed by core, chest, and leg exercises. Regular body stretching and warm-up routines helped prevent injuries and improve flexibility. The structured training approach boosted students’ confidence in their physical abilities. This initiative is helping youth develop fitness, discipline, and readiness for defense careers.
