EArtH Foundation team and school teachers have conducted parent’s meetings in the following villages of Rajanna Sircilla district: Mamidipally, Nizamabad, Nimmapally and Gopalnagar. We discussed the situation after COVID, safety tips, importance of education, monthly SMC meetings and parent’s role at home towards children’s future.
Sircilla Sub Inspector was our chief guest. He spoke about the value of education and emphasized that quality education to all children is possible only in government schools. We have to protect and run school effectively in the village with the help of parents, local leaders and with the support of NGOs like EArtH Foundation. At the same time parents must send their children regularly and also participate in parent’s meetings every month.
Sircilla’s school teacher gave a valuable speech in this meeting. In his words, Earth foundation is providing a great support to the students. He also said that during COVID, Earth foundation gave 16 tabs to schools and they were very useful when schools were closed. The foundation not only gave tabs, volunteers stayed with the students and observed the student’s performance.
Siricilla Sub Inspector also participated in the meeting, he said that though teachers get transferred, Earth Foundation team will stay here with the schools, so every parent should remember their hard work. He also explained the importance of Childline and that any child having the problem between 0 to 18 years old should call 1098 number and Earth foundation team responds immediately.
Since schools started after COVID, enrollment numbers of (active) EArtH adopted schools went significantly high. Please look at the latest enrollment numbers in each of the schools. Our hard work before and during COVID has paid off handsomely. Thanks to the trust that parents is putting on EArtH.
