Creative arts at the village level can be wide and varied. Broadly speaking children get to participate in many activities that fall under the banner of ‘arts and crafts’. In addition to applying creativity to problem-solve and build things, many of creative arts’ activities offer positive recreational value to children from a young age. Past endeavors have included the utilization of low-cost or even waste materials, to build objects of utility. One such example is using clay to build Ganesha idols that are eco-friendly.
