Closing Ceremony of Tailoring Camp – Velkatur

During the ceremony, participants showcased the garments they stitched and shared their learning experiences. The event was attended by local community members, volunteers, and dignitaries who appreciated the participants’ dedication and growth. Certificates were distributed to all trainees, recognizing their commitment and hard work throughout the program.

The tailoring camp not only provided technical skills but also boosted the confidence of the women, enabling them to support their families and become role models in their villages. This initiative is another step by Earth Foundation towards sustainable livelihood and empowerment of rural communities.

While internet access is rapidly growing in rural India, digital literacy often lags behind. Many first-time internet users are unaware of safe browsing practices, making them easy targets for cybercriminals. Our program addresses this gap by:

  • Teaching safe internet usage and recognizing online fraud

  • Guiding people on protecting personal information

  • Educating youth on the dangers of cyberbullying and online predators

  • Encouraging responsible social media behavior
