Free Eye Check-Up Camp – Peddapahad

EArtH Foundation organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Peddapahad, coinciding with the adoption of both the Government Primary and High Schools in the village, to ensure students have clear vision for better learning. The camp, supported by Vasan Eye Care Hospital and Upgrade My Classroom, screened every student for eyesight issues and provided free spectacles to 13 children in need, immediately improving their ability to read, write, and participate in class. The program was coordinated by Director Vennela, Coordinator Raju Anjaneyulu, and Motivation Speaker Naresh, with active involvement from school staff, local community members, and special guest AAPC Chairperson Shireesha. The initiative highlighted the importance of combining health, education, and skill development for holistic growth. Teachers and parents appreciated the support, noting that students who struggled unknowingly with vision issues could now learn confidently. The event also received wide coverage in local newspapers, inspiring other schools to consider similar health initiatives. This one-day camp demonstrated how small efforts can create a lasting impact on children’s education, confidence, and overall development.
