Girls’ High School Adoption & Intel–Future Engineers Program

The EArtH Foundation, with strong support from Intel, is implementing a school adoption program to empower over 100 rural girl students from government high schools in Kamareddy District, Telangana. The initiative focuses on girls from underprivileged and backward communities, addressing key challenges such as gender bias, digital illiteracy, low confidence, and school dropouts.
The program was launched at the Girls High School, Chinnamallareddy village, and inaugurated by Lakshmiraja Goud, Market Committee Chairperson, who emphasized the importance of technology-driven education for girls. Under Intel’s Future Engineers vision, students receive structured six-month training in STEM, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Education, and Spoken English. A computer lab with six systems has been set up to provide hands-on learning and exposure to digital and AI tools.
Along with strengthening academic performance in English, Mathematics, and Science, the program has improved student attendance, confidence, and interest in learning. Regular baseline, monthly, and endline assessments help track progress and ensure measurable outcomes. To motivate students, 100 girls were provided EArtH Foundation T-shirts, and essential support was extended to school infrastructure. Appreciated by community leaders and widely covered by the media, the Intel–EArtH collaboration is creating a clear pathway from childhood to career—preparing rural girls to become confident, skilled, and future-ready leaders.
