This Education and Skill Development initiative is a school adoption program implemented by the EArtH Foundation with strong support from Intel, aimed at empowering over 100 rural girl students from government high schools in Kamareddy District, Telangana.

Pongal Celebrations at the Newly Adopted Schools

 

National Girl Child Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Kasulabad and Velkatur schools, highlighting the importance of empowering and educating girls. Teachers delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing the need for equal opportunities in all fields and the vital role of education in shaping a brighter future for girls.

Students gained valuable insights into gender equality and the significance of respecting and supporting girls. To inspire young minds, teachers shared motivational stories of successful women who broke barriers and achieved greatness. Various activities were organized to raise awareness about girls’ rights, encouraging active participation and self-expression.

Sankranti Rangoli Competitions and Prize Distribution Across Adopted Villages

 

As part of Sankranti celebrations, the EArtH Foundation organized Rangoli (Muggulu) competitions across its four adopted villages/schools—Pallagutta, Chinnapendyala, Obulkeshwapur, and Chagal—to celebrate harvest, tradition, and cultural unity.

Grand Conclusion of EArtH Foundation Skills Program

 

The EArtH Foundation Skills Program concluded at Dharamkanch ZPHS in Jangaon District, marking the completion of year-long activities for government school students with the support of Apps Associates. The program focused on improving students’ skills in academics, science, sports, communication, and personality development.

Students actively participated in a variety of physical activities such as warm-up exercises, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, book balancing, cone games, pyramid activities, and other recreation games.

New Year celebrations were joyfully conducted at Bahegaon and Kakandi schools with active participation from students. At Bahegaon School, dal khichdi was prepared and served to all students, and the children enjoyed the meal together in a happy and friendly atmosphere.
