Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s Birthday Celebration

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birthday was celebrated with deep respect and heartfelt enthusiasm across EArtH Foundation’s Maharashtra adopted schools. Students and teachers gathered in a special assembly to honor the life and legacy of the “Missile Man of India.” A beautifully decorated garland was placed around his portrait, symbolizing gratitude and admiration for his contributions to science, education, and nation-building.

Several students delivered inspiring speeches that highlighted Dr. Kalam’s remarkable journey—from his humble beginnings in Rameswaram to becoming one of India’s most beloved Presidents. Teachers shared memorable anecdotes about his passion for learning, his dedication to young minds, and his belief that every child has the potential to achieve greatness. These stories deeply motivated the students and encouraged them to believe in their dreams.

The celebration concluded with a collective pledge to work with sincerity, discipline, and determination—values that Dr. Kalam championed throughout his life. The event left students feeling inspired, empowered, and proud to follow in the footsteps of such an extraordinary role model.

Global Handwashing Day Celebration

Global Handwashing Day was celebrated with energy and awareness-building activities in EArtH Foundation’s Maharashtra adopted schools. The event focused on teaching students the importance of cleanliness and proper hygiene to prevent illnesses and maintain good health.

Teachers led a live demonstration of the correct handwashing technique, showing the essential steps—wetting hands, applying soap, scrubbing for 20 seconds, rinsing thoroughly, and drying. Students observed closely and then practiced the steps themselves, making the learning hands-on and engaging.

Through discussions and interactive questions, teachers helped students understand how regular handwashing reduces the spread of germs, especially after playing, before meals, and after using the restroom. Students enjoyed the activity and participated enthusiastically, turning the lesson into a fun and memorable experience.

The celebration instilled lifelong hygiene habits and empowered children to promote cleanliness in their homes and communities as well.

Diwali Celebration in EF Telangana Adopted Schools

Diwali was celebrated with joy, compassion, and community involvement across the newly adopted EArtH Foundation schools in Chagal, Obulkeshvapur, and Pallagutta. The celebration began with the distribution of essential groceries to poor and needy families, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during festivals. This thoughtful gesture brought happiness and relief to many families.

Students, teachers, and members of the EF team came together to share the festive spirit through lighting diyas, exchanging greetings, and engaging in traditional Diwali activities. The school campus lit up with warm lights and cheerful faces. Children also enjoyed bursting small crackers under the guidance of teachers, making the day even more exciting.

Throughout the event, students learned about Diwali’s deeper message—spreading kindness, light, and positivity. The celebration strengthened the bond between the school and the community and created beautiful memories for everyone involved.

Sports Material Distribution at Chagal School

EArtH Foundation Co-Founder Mr. Kalaveni Srinivas, along with Raju sir and Anjaneyulu sir, visited the newly adopted Chagal school to encourage sports and physical development among students. During their visit, they distributed a variety of sports materials such as balls, skipping ropes, cones, and equipment for outdoor games.

The students were overjoyed and eagerly tried out the new materials. The distribution aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition among children. Teachers expressed their gratitude, noting how access to better sports equipment would help students stay active and motivated.

The Foundation team also interacted with teachers and students, emphasizing the importance of balancing academics with physical activity. The visit ended on a joyful note, with students excitedly planning how they would use the new materials during sports periods and school competitions.

Diwali Celebration Activities in EF Maharashtra Schools

Diwali celebrations in EArtH Foundation’s Maharashtra adopted schools were filled with creativity, cultural learning, and festive excitement. Students took part in making colorful paper lanterns, which they used to decorate their classrooms. Teachers guided them step-by-step, helping them fold, cut, and design the lanterns with care.

Children also expressed their artistic talents by drawing and coloring lantern-themed artwork. These activities helped students understand the cultural significance of Diwali and provided a fun, hands-on learning experience.

The classrooms became bright, vibrant, and festive with the students’ handmade decorations. Teachers appreciated the creativity and teamwork displayed by the children. The celebration ended with laughter, joy, and a sense of togetherness as the students proudly displayed their creations.

Dance, Yoga, Drawing, and Games

Throughout the month, students across the EArtH Foundation’s adopted schools in both Maharashtra and Telangana participated in a rich blend of creative, physical, and skill-building activities designed to support their overall growth. Classrooms and playgrounds were filled with energy as students engaged in games, art, meditation, sports, and movement-based learning.

In Maharashtra schools, students enjoyed playing interactive games like In and Out, which strengthened their coordination, teamwork, and quick decision-making. Dance practice added enthusiasm to the day as students learned rhythmic steps and expressed themselves through movement. Regular yoga sessions—including Surya Namaskaras and simple asanas—helped students improve flexibility, focus, and emotional balance. Art activities encouraged creativity, with students drawing festive themes and nature-based concepts that allowed them to express ideas freely and build fine motor skills.

In Telangana’s newly adopted schools, students participated in equally enriching activities. They worked on drawings in their EF Skills Books, illustrating stories such as The Thirsty Crow and creating artwork based on environmental awareness topics like Earth Pollution. Coloring these drawings helped them sharpen their imagination and concentration. Physical development was encouraged through Kabaddi practice, which taught students discipline, teamwork, strength, and strategy. Each morning began with meditation and warm-up exercises that helped students stay centered, calm, and ready to learn.

Teachers in both states guided students through every activity with encouragement and support, ensuring that each child felt confident, included, and motivated. The blend of creativity, fitness, mindfulness, and teamwork created a vibrant and balanced learning environment across all EF schools. Students ended each day feeling energized, engaged, and proud of their accomplishments, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to holistic and joyful education.
