EArtH Foundation 14th Anniversary and Tailoring Program Closing Ceremony
The 14th anniversary of EArtH Foundation, along with the closing ceremony of the first three tailoring batches in Sultanabad, was celebrated on the same day with great enthusiasm. All EArtH Foundation members and trainees from the three batches actively participated in the event. The program included fun and engaging games organized for the tailoring members, creating a lively atmosphere. Winners were appreciated with prizes, adding excitement to the celebration. Both EArtH staff and participants joined the activities, making it more interactive and enjoyable. A fashion show was also conducted, where trainees confidently presented their stitching skills and creativity. The tailoring members shared their experiences, highlighting how the training helped them improve their skills and confidence. They expressed sincere thanks to the EArtH Foundation for the opportunity and support provided throughout the program. Overall, the event was well-organized and meaningful, combining celebration, learning, and appreciation for everyone involved.
Start of Computer and Spoken English Training Program in Sultanabad
EArtH Foundation has been actively working toward rural development by strengthening education, skill development, employment opportunities, and social awareness among youth and women through the EF Training & Research Centre at Sultanabad. An awareness program for newly elected Sarpanches was conducted at Mother Theresa Engineering College, Peddapalli, encouraging village leadership to support skill-based initiatives and identify eligible beneficiaries. Community outreach activities were carried out through pamphlet distribution during Sammakka Jathara at Narayanpur and Thogarrai villages, while Citi Cable TV advertisements across six mandals increased public awareness and participation. The centre offers programs such as 1 Rupee tailoring training, defence and police coaching, study hall facilities, computer education, spoken English, science lab support, sports training, and yoga activities to promote holistic development, conducted through three daily batches with 35 participants in each batch to ensure effective learning. A Free Tailoring Training Program was inaugurated under the guidance of Founder Mr. Kalaveni Srinivas, with participation from 103 women and implementation support from the EArtH Foundation team and distinguished Head Masters. The program received media coverage in Sakshi, ABN, and Janam Sakshi newspapers, highlighting women’s empowerment and rural employment opportunities. Community response was highly positive, with increased participation, improved confidence among youth and women, and better access to learning resources. Overall, these initiatives demonstrate EArtH Foundation’s commitment to building self-reliant villages through education, skills, and sustainable community development.
Progress of Tailoring Training at EArtH Foundation, Sultanabad
The tailoring program at EArtH Foundation in Sultanabad is showing steady progress with the start of the 4th batch consisting of 47 members. With this new batch, the training program continues to reach and support more learners. Members from the first three batches have now developed strong stitching skills through regular practice. They are able to stitch independently without external support, showing clear improvement. As part of their advanced learning, they are now stitching long frocks and kurtas. This progress highlights their growing confidence and practical understanding of tailoring. The training sessions focus on hands-on learning, helping members gain real skills. Participants are actively engaged and motivated to improve further. Overall, the program is successfully building skills and self-reliance among the members in Sultanabad.
Retirement Function of Somnarayan Garu at Chagal School
The retirement function of Somnarayan Garu was organized at Chagal School in a respectful and memorable manner. Teachers, students, and members of EArtH Foundation gathered to honor his years of dedicated service. EArtH Foundation presented a remembrance gift as a token of appreciation for his contribution to education. Students played an active role in the event, making it lively and engaging. They performed cultural dances which added joy and energy to the celebration. Students also delivered heartfelt speeches expressing their gratitude and respect for his guidance. Garlands were presented to Somnarayan Garu as a mark of honor and recognition. The event highlighted the strong connection he built with students and staff over the years. Holistic Development Through Activities
Students practiced a variety of activities including carroms, chess, in-out games, and book balancing exercises. These activities were conducted under the guidance of the EArtH Foundation teacher. Indoor games like carroms and chess helped improve concentration and thinking skills. Physical activities such as in-out games and book balancing supported coordination and balance. Students also practiced yoga, including Surya Namaskar, to improve flexibility and health. Meditation sessions were conducted to help students stay calm and focused. The teacher ensured that all students participated actively in each activity. Overall, these sessions supported the all-round development of students in a simple and effective manner.
Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration
Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated at EArtH Foundation Bahegaon School in a respectful and organized manner. Students and teachers gathered to mark the occasion and remember the contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Garlands and flowers were offered as a mark of respect. Students participated actively in the program. They delivered speeches sharing important points about his life and work. Teachers also guided students about his role in shaping the nation. The event helped students understand the value of equality and education. Overall, the celebration was meaningful and well conducted.
