Women’s Day Celebration

EArtH Foundation organized a warm and engaging Women’s Day celebration for all EF teachers at the Ghanpur office. The event was attended by Director Veneela madam, Anjaneyulu sir, and Raju sir, who interacted closely with the teachers and appreciated their contributions. The program created a positive and friendly atmosphere, encouraging open communication and connection. A shared lunch further strengthened team bonding and camaraderie.

During the session, volunteer Purandishwari conducted a practical demonstration on handwriting improvement techniques. She introduced simple and effective methods using handwriting sheets, which teachers actively practiced. The session was both informative and interactive, helping participants gain useful skills while also fostering a sense of unity and appreciation.

Self-Government Day Celebration in Chagal & Chinnapendyala

Self-Government Day was celebrated in the adopted schools of Chagal and Chinnapendyala to promote leadership and responsibility among students. On this special day, students took on the roles of teachers and managed classroom activities with confidence and enthusiasm. They taught lessons, guided their peers, and even delivered speeches on various topics.

Teachers provided support and guidance throughout the program, ensuring a smooth experience. The activity helped students enhance their communication, presentation, and leadership skills while also giving them a real-life understanding of a teacher’s role. Overall, the celebration was highly engaging and played a significant role in building confidence and responsibility among students.

Science Lab Inauguration at Intel-Chinnamallareddy

As part of the Science Mobile Van initiative, science materials were successfully transferred from Peddapahad School to Chinnamallareddy High School to strengthen practical learning facilities. A formal Science Lab Inauguration was conducted in the presence of the Headmaster, Village Sarpanch, Vice Sarpanch, and members of the Adharsha Purva Vidhyartula Committee.

Students actively participated by presenting and explaining various science experiments to the guests, demonstrating strong understanding and enthusiasm. Their efforts were appreciated and encouraged by the attendees. EArtH Foundation also distributed T-shirts to students, creating a sense of belonging and motivation.

In the afternoon session, students explored different science equipment and learned their practical applications. Teachers explained concepts such as the working of a periscope and guided students through basic biology lab activities. The Headmaster appreciated the Foundation’s efforts in enhancing student learning. Overall, the program was highly informative and promoted hands-on learning.

Intel-Chinnamallareddy School Updates

Computer & AI Education:
Computer classes were conducted using projectors, helping students understand MS Word features, menu options, and basic operations. Students practiced creating documents, working with Excel sheets, and using Notepad. AI sessions introduced students to the basics of artificial intelligence, its applications, and tools. Students engaged in practical exercises and assessments, while model exam patterns were explained to strengthen their understanding.

Spoken English:
Spoken English sessions for Classes 6 to 9 focused on improving communication skills and confidence. Topics included idioms, singular and plural forms, sentence construction using words like “ever,” “never,” and “forever,” and types of sentences. Students actively participated in conversations and assessments, helping them build fluency and clarity in speaking.

Science:
Science learning emphasized practical understanding through experiments and demonstrations. Students explored concepts like Newton’s First and Second Laws, water quality testing using a TDS meter, and the functioning of a periscope. Biology lab activities further strengthened their conceptual understanding through hands-on experience.

Motivation:
Motivational sessions focused on self-reflection, gratitude, goal setting, and visualization. Students were encouraged to manage time effectively, respect elders, and develop discipline. A special “Star Introduction” session guided students in structuring effective self-introductions. These sessions helped build confidence, positive thinking, and personal growth.

Skill Development Program – Jangaon Updates

Pallagutta:
Spoken English sessions for Class 4 students focused on self-introduction and confidence building. English lessons covered articles and verbs with practical exercises. Physical activities such as exercises and kabaddi helped improve fitness and teamwork.

Obulkeshwapur:
Students participated in English practice sessions, including conversation, letter writing, essays, and tongue twisters. Regular assessments helped track progress, improving both fluency and writing skills.

Chagal:
Students engaged in regular sports activities such as kabaddi and kho-kho. Structured practice sessions, especially for Class 9, improved coordination, teamwork, and physical fitness.

Chinnapendyala:
Kabaddi sessions for Classes 8 and 9 enhanced physical strength, coordination, and discipline. Students showed enthusiasm and active participation in all activities.

Peddapahad:
Spoken English sessions covered advanced sentence structures, idioms, pronouns, and writing skills. Computer classes included MS Word, Excel, Paint, and typing practice. Physical activities like Surya Namaskar and kabaddi supported fitness, while motivation sessions encouraged effective use of resources.

Free Tailoring Camp – Sultanabad

EArtH Foundation is successfully conducting a free tailoring training program in Sultanabad with three active batches of women. Participants are attending regularly and showing strong dedication to learning new skills. They have learned proper measurement techniques and blouse stitching, and have begun creating simple frocks for their children.

The training includes various designs and easy stitching methods, with step-by-step guidance from trainers. The program is empowering women by building confidence, enhancing skills, and creating opportunities for self-employment and financial independence.

Holistic Development Activities for Students

Students enthusiastically participated in a wide range of drawing activities on topics such as the human brain, road safety, National Science Day, Ugadi, Environment Day, the solar system, and birds like parrots and sparrows. They also explored their creativity through simple and fun drawings, including teddy bears, cupcakes, and ice cream, reflecting both imagination and interest.

In physical education, students actively engaged in exercises, kabaddi, kho-kho, and Surya Namaskar, along with interactive games such as the ring game, bottle game, cone game, book balancing, frog jumps, and in-out games. These activities helped build strength, coordination, and teamwork.

Yoga sessions were an integral part of their routine, where students practiced various asanas including Padahastasana, Paschimottanasana, Dandasana, Uttanapadasana, Ardha Halasana, Halasana, Setubandhasana, Dhanurasana, Chakrasana, Vajrasana, Padmasana, Ushtrasana, and Sarvangasana. They also engaged in pranayama, Omkara meditation, and butterfly asana, which supported relaxation, focus, and overall well-being.

To keep students energized and engaged, fun activities such as circle running and balancing exercises were regularly conducted. In addition, creative learning was encouraged through paper crafts like making flowers and decorative frames.

Daily handwriting practice was carried out using EF worksheets, where students improved their cursive writing skills in English, Telugu, and mathematics. Overall, these well-rounded activities contributed significantly to enhancing students’ creativity, physical fitness, concentration, and holistic development.

Hindu Sammelan Rally and Lezim Performance

A Hindu Sammelan was आयोजित on 22nd March with great enthusiasm. A rally was conducted across the village to encourage community participation and cultural awareness. Students actively participated and performed Lezim with excellent coordination and energy.

Dressed in traditional attire, students added vibrancy and cultural richness to the event. Their disciplined performance attracted appreciation from the villagers. The program created a festive atmosphere and helped students connect with their cultural heritage while building confidence and teamwork.

Student Selected for ISRO Educational Tour

Kumari Sanjeevani Shivaji Mekale, a student of Zilla Parishad High School, Bahegaon (Nanded district), has been selected for an educational tour to ISRO, Bangalore. This opportunity was provided under a Zilla Parishad initiative aimed at promoting scientific thinking among students.

She was selected among 26 students based on her performance in the Class 5 scholarship examination. Her achievement reflects her dedication and hard work, bringing pride to her school and village. This exposure to a premier scientific institution will inspire her to pursue greater goals in the future.

Art, Games and Yoga

Students actively participated in Lezim practice, improving coordination and teamwork. Drawing activities encouraged creativity, as students created and described their artwork in skill books. Traditional games like Langdi added fun while promoting physical activity and teamwork.

Yoga sessions for younger students (Classes 1 to 4) focused on basic exercises that improved flexibility, concentration, and overall well-being. These combined activities supported both physical fitness and creative development, ensuring holistic growth.
