EF Government School Adoption Program – Jayagiri

EArtH Foundation organized the Government School Adoption Program at Jayagiri Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Hanumakonda District, adopting the Government Primary and High School to promote quality education and holistic student development. The event included the inauguration of the Pre-Primary classroom and the Akshara Abhyasam ceremony in the presence of District Education Officer (DEO) Mr. Giriraja Goud, who appreciated the Foundation’s efforts in strengthening government schools. Mandal Education Officer (MEO) Mr. Srinivas, Village Sarpanch Mr. Venkatesham, Director Ms. Vennela, and Headmaster Mr. Srihari highlighted the importance of educational support, skill development, and community participation. The program was attended by education officials, teachers, parents, public representatives, EArtH Foundation staff, and villagers. The initiative reflects EArtH Foundation’s continued commitment to creating better learning opportunities and improving the future of rural children.

Government School Adoption Program – Vangapahad

EArtH Foundation launched its Government School Adoption Program at Vangapahad Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Hanumakonda District, adopting the Government Primary and High School to promote quality education, health, skill development, and holistic student growth under the guidance of MEO Mr. Srinivas. He appreciated the Foundation’s efforts in strengthening government schools through computer education, science laboratory activities, spoken English, motivational sessions, arts, and life skills, while Director Ms. Vennela reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to supporting students’ overall development. The Headmasters thanked EArtH Foundation for adopting the schools, providing educational and sports materials, and deploying a volunteer to strengthen classroom learning. As part of the initiative, the Foundation distributed worksheets, workbooks, pencil boxes, crayons, chess and carrom sets, skipping ropes, Tennikoit rings, a medicine ball, caps, and other learning resources to enhance academic and extracurricular activities. The program was attended by Mana Ooru Mana Badi Constituency Convener Mr. Doma Kumar, EArtH Foundation Coordinator Mr. Raju, headmasters, teachers, school staff, and other representatives, reflecting the Foundation’s continued commitment to creating better learning opportunities for rural children.

Community Canvassing and Awareness Campaign

EArtH Foundation conducted a community canvassing and awareness campaign in Narayanrao Palli, Gollapalli, Sambhaiahpalli, Mogdumpur, Cherlabuthkoor, and Dubbapalli to inform local residents about its skill development programmes. The team interacted with community members and explained the benefits of Tailoring, Spoken English, Computer Training, and Beautician Courses. Information about course objectives, eligibility, and registration was shared in a simple and engaging manner. The campaign encouraged youth and women to develop practical skills that can improve their employment and self-employment opportunities. The initiative received a positive response, with many residents expressing interest in enrolling in the upcoming training programmes.

Skill Development Centre Updates – Sultanabad

EArtH Foundation’s Training and Research Skill Centre, Sultanabad, successfully completed the 6th Batch of the Tailoring Course, and the 7th Batch has commenced with great enthusiasm. The new batch has started learning basic cutting techniques on newspaper patterns and has begun practical stitching sessions to build confidence and accuracy. In the 4th Batch of the Computer Course, 16 students completed training in MS Word (including Header and Footer), MS Excel, PowerPoint, internet browsing, email creation and sending, and resume preparation, followed by a final assessment. Meanwhile, the 5th Batch is progressing well, learning MS Paint, Notepad, and advanced MS Word features such as page setup, typing, font styles, picture insertion, table creation, cover pages, page borders, watermarks, and page styling. These training programmes continue to equip youth and women with practical skills that enhance their employment and self-employment opportunities.

Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebrations

EArtH Foundation celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi with great enthusiasm at its newly adopted schools in Maharashtra, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. Students dressed in traditional attire and actively participated in cultural performances that reflected the rich heritage and values of the festival. A colourful rally was organised within the school premises, spreading messages of devotion, unity, and cultural pride. Teachers, students, and community members appreciated the celebrations, which encouraged students to connect with their traditions while building confidence and teamwork. The event made the festival a meaningful learning experience and strengthened the cultural environment in the schools.

171st Birth Anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak

The 171st birth anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak was observed with great respect at the newly adopted EArtH Foundation Maralak School. Students participated in the programme and learned about Tilak’s remarkable contributions to India’s freedom struggle, his commitment to education, and his efforts toward social reform. Teachers highlighted his inspiring leadership and encouraged students to follow the values of patriotism, discipline, and service to society. The celebration helped students gain a deeper understanding of India’s history while inspiring them to become responsible and dedicated citizens.

Holistic Learning and Co-Curricular Activities

EArtH Foundation continued to promote the overall development of students in its newly adopted schools in Maharashtra through a variety of engaging co-curricular activities. Students actively participated in outdoor games such as Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Bottle Game, along with body workouts, meditation, and brain games that enhanced their physical fitness, mental alertness, and teamwork. Karate sessions focused on Upper Punch, Middle Punch, and Block techniques, helping students build confidence, discipline, and self-defence skills. Yoga practice improved flexibility, concentration, and overall well-being through different asanas. Cultural activities included Lezim Dance, performances to the songs “Mauli Mauli,” “Stree Shakti,” and “Mauli Vithucha Gajar Ho,” encouraging creativity while celebrating Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage.
