Skill – Arts

Village-level creative arts provide children with diverse opportunities to explore imagination and hands-on learning. From crafts to eco-friendly creations like clay Ganesha idols, these activities nurture both skill and recreation.

Art for a Better World

Village-level creative arts can be diverse and broad. In general, children have access to a wide range of activities that are categorized as “arts and crafts.” In addition to applying creativity to problem-solve and build things, many of creative arts’ activities offer positive recreational value to children from a young age. In the past, attempts have been made to construct useful products by using inexpensive or even trash materials. One such instance is the creation of environmentally friendly Ganesha sculptures out of clay.
