
Closing Ceremony of Tailoring Camp – Velkatur




EArtH Foundation organized a Free Tailoring Training Program for mothers of students at MPPS Primary School, Velkatur, to help them gain skills and support their families. Around 30 women completed the training and received certificates at a closing ceremony attended by guests including M. Ramesh (DAMO), Kalaveni Srinivas (Co-Founder), HM P. Rajayya, the Village Secretary, and the Foundation team. The guests appreciated the initiative for empowering women to become independent while also contributing to their children’s education. The event was covered by local newspapers such as Andhra Jyothi, Nava Telangana, and Prathi Paksham. The mothers expressed happiness and confidence after learning tailoring, as they now have an opportunity to earn and support their households. The program highlighted how skill development not only strengthens families but also benefits the entire community, making it a meaningful step toward a better future.
