Education is not just about books, it is also about making sure children are healthy enough to learn. With this in mind, EArtH Foundation organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Pallagutta ZPHS, Chilpur Mandal, Jangaon District, in partnership with Vasan Eye Care Hospital and Upgrade My Classroom. A total of 161 students were screened by expert doctors, and five children with vision problems were given free spectacles immediately. EArtH Foundation Founder Mr. Peddi Pramod encouraged parents and students to take advantage of such camps, reminding everyone that healthy children can learn better. The program was made possible with the support of the Foundation team, school staff, the Mandal Education Officer, SMC members, and local community leaders. The initiative was also covered in newspapers like Sakshi and Namaste Telangana, spreading awareness beyond the village. For the children who received spectacles, being able to see the blackboard and read clearly was a life-changing experience, proving that small steps in health can bring big changes in education and confidence.
